The tomaters are in!

I finally got to bring my tomatoes home! I ordered them from heirloomtomatoplants.com, run by this this woman in Lomita who raises a ton of different varieties! It was great. They ship all around the country, but since I'm local I was able to just drive down there and pick em up. Yaay! 8 different varieties in all.

- Carmello (red, apparently super productive)
- Old German (yellow/red mottled)
- Green Zebra (green striped)
- San Marzano Redorta (plum/paste)
- Northern Lights (orange)
- Paul Robeson (brown)
- Sun Gold (orange cherry)
- Elfin (red cherry)

I'm pretty excited about the prospects! Just gotta get the drip system fixed (it was leaking, so I'm hand watering until my dad is in town to help me sort it out) and then I'm totally in business!

so many tomatoes... You better get ready, cause you're going to have a lot of fruit on your hands pretty soon.
